About the Fellowship

The Eliza Moore Fellowship supports outstanding early-career artists — including visual artists, writers, dancers, and musicians — who are creating new works inspired by nature, landscapes, gardens, or plants. It provides an immersive experience at the OSGF estate, a breathtaking 700-acre landscape in Virginia.

During their stay, fellows will engage with fellow creatives and scholars in an interdisciplinary setting. Communal meals, thought-provoking discussions, and shared field trips are all part of the residency, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Residency Highlights

  • Duration: 2 to 5 weeks

  • Location: Oak Spring Garden Foundation, USA

  • Flexibility: Fellows can structure their time as needed

  • Optional Activities: Nature walks, birdwatching, garden volunteering, and access to the Oak Spring Library
