The scholarship includes several types of financial support depending on the level of study:

Advanced Scholars: ¥10,000 (6 months) / ¥20,000 (1 year)
To qualify, applicants must meet the following:
Be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid passport
Be in good health, of good character, and show strong academic performance
Language requirements vary by program and university
Age requirements:
Undergraduate: Under 25, with a high school diploma
Master’s: Under 30, with a bachelor’s degree
PhD: Under 35, with a master’s degree
General Scholar: Under 40, must have relevant academic background
Advanced Scholar: Under 50, with at least a master’s degree and associate professor title or above
Not currently receiving any other Chinese government scholarships
Must meet university-specific admission criteria for the chosen program
