  • A short essay (in English, max 350 words, or in Japanese, max 800 characters) explaining your motivation to study in Japan and your future aspirations.

  • A short self-introduction video (up to 30 seconds).

Application Process

  1. Register as a member on the JPSS website.

  2. Complete your profile and use the Scouting Function to receive university offers.

  3. After receiving an offer, access the scholarship application portal.

  4. Fill in the application form accurately.

  5. Write and upload your essay.

  6. Record and upload your self-introduction video.
