Benefits

For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 awarded in the 1st and 2nd semesters, followed by €2,500 annually for the next three years, contingent upon earning 45 credits each year.
Honors Scholarship: Awarded to students who excel academically in their first year, with €2,500 granted in the second year and each subsequent year, provided 45 credits are earned annually. This is available to students fulfilling minor requirements or those not receiving a HAN Holland scholarship.

For Master’s Degree Applicants:

HAN NL Scholarship: €2,500 awarded in both the first and second semesters, totaling €5,000.
Honors Scholarship: A one-time payment of €2,500 for outstanding students, awarded in the second semester. This is available to students who did not receive a HAN Holland scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicants must be nationals from a country outside the EU/EEA.
Previous Enrollment: Applicants must not have previously enrolled in a degree program at a university or applied sciences university in the Netherlands.
Full-time Enrollment: You must be enrolled in a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN University of Applied Sciences.
English Proficiency: Demonstrate English proficiency with one of the following:
- IELTS score of at least 6.5
- TOEFL iBT score of 90
- Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE)

Required Documents:

Motivation Letter: A letter explaining why you would be a successful HAN student.
Short Video: A 3-minute video where you introduce yourself, highlight your strengths, share what your former teachers or friends would say about you, explain your chosen course of study, outline your career ambitions, and describe where you see yourself in 10 years.
Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed account of your education, work experience, and achievements.
Online Education Certificates: Certificates related to your academic background.
