The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at AUB is designed to provide students with more than just academic knowledge. Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Students from Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and other African countries.
  • Graduate scholarships are also open to nationals from Africa, Lebanon, and refugees or displaced persons living in Lebanon.
  • Selection Criteria: Applicants must show academic promise, financial disadvantage, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to serving their community.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Official university transcripts
    • 2 recommendation letters
    • Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL)
    • GMAT for the MBA program and GRE for some courses at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences
    • Application fee ($50 or L.L. 75,000)
