Applicants must be citizens or residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Germany, Poland, or the Netherlands. If you hold citizenship in one of these countries but live abroad, you must apply through the European application process.
Fluency in English is required.
Must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Be a current student at a university in one of the eligible countries.
Have graduated within the past two years from a university in an eligible country.
Be a citizen or resident of one of the eligible countries while studying abroad.
Applicants can apply to multiple Fellowship programs through a single application but are not guaranteed placement in their preferred program.

Undergraduate students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) from U.S.-based institutions.
Recent graduates (classes of 2023 or 2024 from undergraduate or graduate programs in the U.S.).
Second-year community college students planning to continue their education.
Current Master’s or PhD students at a U.S. university.
If you are a U.S. citizen studying abroad, you are eligible to apply through the U.S. process. Non-U.S. citizens studying at a university in the U.S. are also eligible to apply through the U.S. application system.
