Award Details

The Global Excellence Scholarship provides an annual tuition fee discount for the normal full-time duration of the student’s course, as specified in the letter of offer.

Eligibility Criteria

The Global Excellence Scholarship 2025 is open to students from all countries who:

Have received an offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at UWA for the 2025 intake.
Have achieved an equivalent:
- Minimum ATAR of 85.00 (for undergraduate applicants).
- Minimum WAM of 65.00 (for postgraduate applicants).
- WAM of 75.00+ (for students applying through an International Academic Pathway).

Undergraduate Courses

Students applying for eligible bachelor’s degrees or Assured Pathway courses can apply, except for:

Assured Pathway to Medicine
Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine

Postgraduate Courses

Applicants for eligible coursework-based master's programs are considered, except for:

Doctor of Medicine (91850)
Doctor of Dental Medicine (91860)
Doctor of Optometry (91590)
UWA Micro-credentials

Combined Bachelor's and Master's Degrees

All Combined Bachelor’s and Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees are eligible. However, for:

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) & Bachelor of Commerce
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) & Bachelor of Science
Students can receive up to AUD 60,000 over five years (based on WAM).
