Hogans Fellowship: A Gateway to Success in Public Affairs

The Hogans Fellowship, named after esteemed corporate leader and former Council board chair Mack Hogans, is an exclusive Washington, D.C.-based initiative designed to nurture and mentor aspiring public affairs professionals from diverse backgrounds. This year-long program equips participants with essential skills, networking opportunities, and mentorship to establish and advance their careers in the public affairs sector.


Program Structure and Requirements

To successfully complete the Hogans Fellowship, participants must fulfill the following commitments:

  • Attend four in-person professional development events, including a compulsory orientation session on May 8, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 PM ET in Washington, D.C.

  • Engage with an assigned Mentor Leader at least once every quarter.

  • Complete a minimum of 10 hours of Public Affairs Council professional development sessions, including webinars and workshops.
