GRO GEST Fellowship 2026 in Iceland – A Fully Funded Opportunity

The GRO GEST Fellowship 2026 is now accepting applications for its prestigious five-month training program at the University of Iceland. This fully funded fellowship is designed for young professionals from low- and middle-income countries who are committed to advancing gender equality and social justice. Upon completion, fellows will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Gender Equality Studies and Training (GEST).

Fellowship Modules

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the GRO GEST Fellowship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Nationality: Applicants must be from low- and middle-income countries
Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
Language Proficiency: Fluency in spoken and written English
Work Experience: Minimum two years of professional experience
Age Preference: Preferably under 35 years old
Skills: Strong leadership potential and dedication to gender equality

Application Process

The application process consists of two phases:

Step 1: Nomination Submission

Obtain a nomination letter from your supervisor at your current workplace.
The nomination must be submitted via the GEST website by March 8, 2025.

Step 2: Individual Application

If nominated, you will receive an invitation to apply in mid-to-late March 2025.
Shortlisted applicants will proceed to the final selection phase.
